Wellbeing Week

The first week back of Term 4 has certainly commenced with a busy start filled with an abundance of activities for our students.

In the Secondary school, recognition of Wellbeing Week began with two therapy dogs joining our students on campus to provide support with emotional wellbeing, offering opportunities for interaction and comfort with plenty of smiles on faces.

Wellbeing Week also included activities such as Pilates, meditation, art workshops, gratitude journaling and mindful walking to coincide with our Vision for Student Wellbeing Theme for Term 4: Caring for Our Body.

Throughout the entire school, students celebrated Wellbeing Week in a variety of ways. They took part in silent discos, self-defence/karate lessons, outdoor games, circle time, and team-building activities, to name a few.

The month of October is marked as Mental Health Month in Australia, raising an awareness on mental health and wellbeing. Let’s promote wellness and enjoy the start of beautiful weather by joining in activities to foster a positive impact such as going for a walk as a family.
