Proud Parent - Mark Jordan
Mark Jordan is a proud Hume Anglican Grammar parent of Eli, Marley and Aliyah (triplets) who are in Year 2 at our Mt Ridley Campus. Mark has worked in the architecture field for the past 20 years and has been running his own building design business for the last 10 years.
Why did you choose Hume Anglican Grammar for your children?
Having grown up in Craigieburn, and seeing the area develop over time, Hume Anglican Grammar was the one school that reminded me of my school when I was young. I love the strong community focus that exists at Hume and that leadership are engaged with all the students and parents on a regular basis.
What has been the fondest memory of your time here at our school?
Watching how proud our children were when performing as part of the Lion King Jr production and seeing them develop over the year to increase their confidence while finding enjoyment in their learning.
What do you value most about education?
The development of knowledge and skills for future endeavours. I love that my kids find understanding in what they are learning and how that can be used in everyday life. Also, the opportunities that it provides to my children in determining what they want to do in life.
Fast Four:
If your friends could describe you in one word, what would it be?
Friendly - I make new friends wherever I go.
If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
My Grandparents who are no longer with us. I would have loved for them to meet my three little munchkins.
Favourite travel spot?
I love going to Bright. I have fond memories of it when I was a child and love that I am now making new ones with my Kids.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I met my wife when we were in high school and we have been together for the past 26 years.
