Forensic Incursion: Run by Education Interactive – ‘A Case of Conspiracy’

In this incursion, students were able to work collaboratively to analyse evidence, determine timelines and uncover motives of the suspects by using interactive evidence stations. The case presented to the students highlighted how the lure of drugs and easy money can lead to a web of deceit and betrayal. A young man was accused of the crime and all the evidence pointed to his guilt, but was he really the murderer? To figure this out, students had to analyse tyre tread, examine ballistic evidence and handwriting and compare DNA samples.

In this incursion, our Forensics class experienced interactive, hands-on activities, with the assistance of an instructor. The incursion taught us the various ways of solving a crime by examining real-life evidence. Overall, this incursion was informative and assisted us in our Forensic understanding. - Ameek 9B

By utilising the many stations of evidence and tools set up, we were able to find the culprit to the real-life scenario provided to us. It was truly an exhilarating experience that enhanced our understanding of Forensic investigations. - Eshaal 9B
