After our school’s success at the District Swimming Carnival early in March, coming home with a variety of medals, we then had the opportunity to represent our school at the next level of swimming.

On Tuesday, 22 March 23 students from both our Mt Ridley and Donnybrook campuses represented the Woodlands/Whittlesea District at the Northern Metropolitan Swimming Carnival at Water Marc in Greensborough. These students once again represented not only our school with excellence, but also their district.

The results from this carnival were as follows:

Joshua Hume – 1^st in Backstroke and Breaststroke

Michelle Sharma – 3rd in Butterfly

Joshua Hume will now attend the State Championships in April for Backstroke and Breaststroke. Congratulations Josh!

Well done to all of the swimmers involved. You definitely let your colours shine.
