Term Reflection - Donnybrook
The end of Term 1 is here, and I am sure all students, teachers, staff and parents are looking forward to spending time with family and friends and taking the time to slow down, reflect and refresh.
When I think about this term and the year so far, I am grateful to see the growth in our campus, along with the amazing teachers, students, parents and community we have. We have welcomed the Kalkallo campus classes this year and enjoyed having the students and their teachers with us.
We have been able to hold chapel services and assemblies in person with one selected cohort and we were treated to great assemblies lead by Year 2, Year 6 and Year 5 students. The celebration on Harmony Day was a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate the diversity of our School and to come together to have the photograph of the word ‘Harmony’ on the soccer pitch.
We were able to run the Volunteer Induction Program and having parents and grandparents back in our classrooms is amazing to see, and we very much appreciate the support. Thank you to the Parents and Friends Association for Zooper Dooper Fridays, which have been enjoyed by all.
Heart filled thanks to everyone for a great term and working together to continue to build a great community, supporting and growing together. I hope everyone can refresh over the break and participate in the celebration of Easter. We look forward to welcoming the students back for Term 2 on Wednesday, 27 April.
