Hello all! My name is Meron Nona and I am a Year 9 Senator.
I always try my best and work hard in everything I do to produce the highest quality work I possibly can. I also am respectful to everyone, both teachers and students, I interact with. I believe that respect is a necessary element to have the best school environment possible.
I became senator to encourage and inspire others to always try their best and to be the best people they can be. I also wanted to be there to transfer the suggestions and thoughts of my cohort to the Year Level Coordinator to get them implemented. I believe good leaders try to help others become leaders themselves, and I wish to do that for students in my year level as well.
I like to spend my free time playing open-world exploration or fighting video games, especially with my friends and siblings. I also love to read fantasy and adventure fiction books. I am currently reading the 'Arc of a Scythe' series by Neal Shusterman. In the last two years, I have also signed up to a few maths competitions, including the Maths Olympiad. I enjoyed the interschool competition at the end of the Olympiad, in which my team and I did the best out of the other Year 7 students from the other schools.
