Thank you to the students have already signed up for the 2021 Premiers’ Reading Challenge. We have had 748 students across both campuses so far sign up, which is wonderful to see so much enthusiasm for this initiative.
For your child to successfully complete the challenge they must read the required amount of books as follows:
Prep to Year 2 students need to read or have read to them 30 books in total, at least 20 Challenge books (these are the books from the Premiers’ Reading Challenge list) and 10 other books.
Year 3 to Year 6 students need to read 15 books in total, at least 10 Challenge books) and 5 other books.
In Library classes, your child’s teacher will help show how to find the Challenge books in our school library. This list can be accessed when you log on to your child’s Premiers’ Reading Challenge information.
