We hope to provide students and parents with the latest information that will help students make informed decisions about their future career and life beyond school.

The aim of career education at Hume Anglican Grammar is to not to make decisions for students about their future, but to provide students with research skills and knowledge of themselves and careers related information. We hope to provide students and parents with the latest information that will help students make informed decisions about their future career and life beyond school. Whilst the Careers Counselling service is open to all students, all Year 12 students will be required to make an appointment to exchange vital information during Term 1. Please contact Mrs Melanie Hayek, Careers Counsellor, to arrange an apppointment.

Year 10 students should also be investigating opportunities for work experience. Students who take the opportunity to undertake work experience often experience greater success in their senior schooling and pathways planning. Please note that work experience must be undertaken during the term holidays.

If your child is interested in the Defence Forces, especially students in Year 12, now is the time to start investigating at the ‘Defence Job Info Sessions.’ There are many information sessions happening over the next few weeks, including some virtual ones. Use the link below to find information sessions relevant to you:
