Despite trading in our candles for a device, our annual Carols event remained a great success.
On Friday, 4 December and Tuesday, 8 December, our School presented its annual Christmas Carols event albeit in a very different manner to our usual gatherings.
Families would trade in their candles and a visit to the CGA, instead meeting via Zoom with the opportunity to enjoy a picnic at home and sing along from the comfort of their own homes.
Jingle Bell, Silent Night and many of the classics were all there - along with some fun new songs and a special performance by Staff at Hume Anglican Grammar. Led by the amazing team of Ms Haylee Sommer (Director of Performing Arts) and Reverend Peter Waterhouse, the event would remain a huge success with hundreds of families tuning in live and a few even tagging us online to share their Carols experience.
