Despite the need for a change in format, our annual Presentation Ceremonies took place during the final week of Term 4 and saw a number of students acknowledged and recognised for their achievements in 2020.

Our annual Presentation Ceremonies remain a highlight of our calendar each year and provide us with an opportunity to come together as a School community and acknowledge the achievements of a number of students whilst also ushering in a new era of leadership for the year to come.

2020 would prove no different, despite a change in format due to ongoing Covid-19 circumstances. The ceremonies for both Primary and Secondary School at Mt Ridley, and the Primary years at Donnybrook would continue on via a live broadcast through Zoom. With speeches from our Board Chair Mr Richard St John, Principal Mr Bill Sweeney and our three Assistant Principals, students would come together online to reflect upon an at times challenging 2020 but also be proud of their achievements and ability to overcome the once in a lifetime obstacles that were sprung upon them this year.

As is the traditional custom, our 2020 School Captains Noah and Gihansa provided their farewell speech and together with our Vice Captains Mietta and Kasey would present our 2021 Leadership Team with their embroidered Blazers.

A standing reception for our graduating Year 6 students would mark the conclusion of our Primary Mt Ridley Ceremony with all three editions looking forward to an exciting 2021 which is now only months away.

You can view some snapshots from each Ceremony in the imagery below.
