What do you like most about working at Hume Anglican Grammar?
 
I commenced my role in March this year and am really loving the opportunity to work within a school environment for the first time. I’ve particularly enjoyed learning all the different systems and processes that are involved in the role and getting to know not just my team but also the wider staff community.
 
What does a typical day in the office look like for you? 
 
Each day is varied and could include a number of different finance related tasks such as processing month-end accounting journals, maintaining our chart of accounts, preparing balance sheets and account reconciliations, assisting with annual compliance requirements or even recruiting new team members for our growing school!  
 
Who has had the biggest impact on your career and why?
 
My Mum. She always encouraged me to give everything a go and she proved that you could be an awesome Mum and have a career at the same time.

If your friends could describe you in one word, what would it be?
Nurturing.
 
If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? 
My Nonna.
 
Favourite travel spot? 
New York City.
 
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I follow the MotoGP and Formula 1, mostly because both my kids and husband love it so much!
