The students also enjoyed making traditional damper over an open fire, stacking crates in a fun team-building exercise, and testing their aim in archery. The natural surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for bushwalking and orienteering, allowing the students to develop their navigation skills. For those seeking a thrill, mountain bike riding offered an exhilarating way to explore the bushlands.

In addition to the adventure camp, the students had the unique opportunity to step back in time at the Sovereign Hill costume school, where they were transported to the Gold Rush era. Dressed in period costumes, the students experienced firsthand what life was like for a child in the 1850s. They attended a traditional school where they learned the art of calligraphy, writing with quill and ink as they would have in the past. The experience continued a gold pouring demonstration. The highlight for many was the chance to pan for gold. A guided tour into the mines further helped their understanding of the harsh conditions faced by miners during the Gold Rush.
