The Class of 2024 has officially wrapped up their formal year with two days filled with fun and reflection.
The festivities kicked off on Monday with a nostalgic tour of the school, allowing students to revisit the many milestones and cherished memories they’ve created throughout their educational journey at Hume Anglican Grammar.
Following the tour, the Sports Centre buzzed with high energy as Primary school students observed the vibrant costume parade that delighted both the Year 12 participants and spectators. Cheers erupted as the colourful costumes took to the floor creating an electric atmosphere. The highly anticipated Staff versus Student volleyball match followed, truly showcasing the competitive spirit between the two teams.
Tuesday brought even more opportunities for connection and celebration. Graduates and staff gathered for their farewell breakfast. Students had the opportunity to reflect with their teachers from past years and prepare them for the celebrations to come.
The day continued with a moving Chapel service and the final School Assembly, which featured a touching photo presentation chronicling the cohort's 13-year journey together. Emotions ran high during the final roll call, and when the Class of 2024 received a heartfelt standing ovation while exiting the Sports Centre. The atmosphere was filled with pride.
The morning was completed with Prep - Year 11 students and staff forming a Guard of Honour, applauding the graduates as they walked through, signifying their transition to the next chapter of their lives.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024! As you embark on your next adventures, know that you have a bright future ahead. Best of luck in all your future endeavours!
