Celebrate the End of the Year
Hello friends!
Warm Greetings!
So…we have reached to the end of the year with a lot of excitement and hope for the future. I am sure, as much as the teachers are busy hitting the to-do list (which keeps on extending), parents and families are busy with work, planning the Christmas vacation, spending some relaxing time with family and friends and welcoming the new year!
Life is amazing. While something ends, there is a new beginning! The cycle of day, night, and years goes on and on. Isn’t it amazing that God creates new things for us at every stage?
Christian sisters and brothers are observing Advent season at present. The word Advent itself suggests what is all about. Yes, its about the arrival – the birth – of Jesus Christ on Christmas day.
I think the Advent wreath is a great reminder that God’s love for us never ends. The round wreath signifies there is no beginning and end to God. Such is his love for us. Every day His love is freshly poured into our life. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Indeed, great is His faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23).
How encouraging it is that we are so loved and cared. Let us be hopeful every day that God will help us take every challenge – small or big – and we will go through every situation. Let us make peace with ourselves as our hearts are so very burdened with all things going on. Let us be joyful that this will pass, and a new beginning is just at hand.
Let us celebrate the ending because it precedes a new beginning.
May God grant us strength.

Loving God, remind us of your love in every situation and every day.
