Wonderful Learning in Year 4 - Donnybrook

What an exciting time the students in Year 4 at Donnybrook campus have had. The students were involved in many fun activities ranging from the Primary production, Father’s Day Evening and Science Week.

Over the last two weeks, the Year 4s have been practising really hard for the Primary production of The Lion King Jr. As the time came closer, the students demonstrated many skills. They had lots of dance movements and were required to work as a team. When the final night came, the students had mixed emotions. They were excited, anxious, and confident.

Year 4 students and their dads participated in a Father’s Day Evening after school. There were several fathers and grandfathers. The students and their fathers made an exploding box with many things relating to their dad. They were excited.

In the midst of these amazing activities, the students also participated in science experiments for Science Week in Week 8. They learnt that honey and molten glass share an interesting property. They are both thicker when cold, and runny when hot. In this activity, students explored the viscosity of honey at different temperatures.

What a fun and exciting way to finish a term of Year 4.
