We are thrilled to celebrate our Secondary Visual Arts students whose Art and Visual Communication Design work has been selected for inclusion in the 2024 Independent Schools Victoria 2024 exhibition.
The exhibition features over 60 artworks from 5 Victorian Independent schools. At Hume Anglican Grammar, The Arts enable students to develop their creative and expressive capacities by learning about the different practices, disciplines and traditions that have shaped expressions of culture locally, nationally and globally.
In early 2024, Anne Smith, ISV Principal Consultant, visited the School to select works newly completed by our Secondary Donnybrook and Mt Ridley Students. The students were eager to exhibit their work externally in a public gallery space alongside peers at other participating schools including Carey Baptist Grammar School, Ilim College, Lowther Hall Grammar School, St Andrews Christian College.
We thank Independent Schools Victoria for their commitment to Visual Arts, exhibition opportunities, and for photographing these student works for their online gallery. These works are now on show at Docklands.
