After the false start due to a 3 day return to Remote Teaching and Learning, I am pleased to say that students have resumed face-to-face learning without missing a beat. This is testament to their resilience and the level of support provided by their teachers and parents.
We had the pleasure of inducting our 2021 Primary school student leaders on Monday, 22 February at our student leadership induction assembly. All Prep – Year 6 student leaders were present in the Central Gathering Area (CGA) to receive their certificate and badge as they were watched by the rest of our community via Zoom. We were fortunate to hear our School Captains, Jessica Singh and Georg Difalco address our Primary student leaders. Jessica and Georg spoke about leadership from their perspective and offered some wonderful advice to our aspiring leaders. Mrs Sheona Carter also spoke about her experience as a leader and offered some excellent practical leadership advice to our students. We wish all our student leaders’ success in their role this year and hope they find the experience rewarding.
We look forward to an uninterrupted completion to the term as we continue to plan a number of exciting events in the Primary school.
