Excitement-filled student activity

As Thursday mornings roll around, the Mt Ridley Performing Arts Building is abuzz with activity.

Outside the Dance Studio, you'll notice a neat row of school bags, belonging to the eager students inside. Peering through the window, you'll see a group of twenty Prep students, all focused on perfecting their 'first position' as they hold onto the barre and listen intently to their teacher.

As part of the Co-curricular Program, Prep Ballet is designed to introduce our students to the wonderful world of dance. Each week, led by the talented Mrs Metagesha, our eager young dancers focus on perfecting their technique and building a strong foundation that will serve them well in the years to come. As they progress through the program, they'll have the opportunity to join the Primary Dance Ensemble and eventually, the Secondary Dance Troupe. Who knows? They may even compete in interschool tournaments and participate in the Secondary Production one day!

This new initiative is a fantastic way for our students to develop their skills, build their confidence, and explore their passion for dance. We can't wait to see what the future holds for these budding performers!
