Term 3 2022 Reflection - Donnybrook

As another term draws to a close, we reflect on what was a very busy and successful Term 3. 2022 is the first time in 2 years we have had a full Term 3 onsite together. Boy did we make the most of it!

It was a joyous occasion to have all the Donnybrook and Kalkallo students on stage for the production of Disney’s The Lion King Jr over three nights. The annual Book Week Parade provided another highlight where we thank King Arthur for his attendance along with many other delightful and amazing characters. Fathers’ Day Evening and being able to see so many fathers and grandfathers join their child in the classroom was another great occasion. There were many incursions and excursions along with Camps and Athletics Carnivals.

As we get closer to the time where we farewell Reverend Peter, I would like to take the opportunity to thank him for all that he has done for the Donnybrook campus. We will surely miss him and wish him all the best on his journey. A big thank you to the Parents and Friends Association for the weekly donut fundraiser along with the Fathers’ Day Stall and their assistance at each of the production nights.

Parent-Teacher Interviews will be taking place in Week 9. This is a great opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher to receive an update on their progress at school.

As we head towards a 3-week break for the students, I wish all families a safe holiday and hope that you all have a chance to rest, spend time with family and friends and come back refreshed for what will be a great Term 4.
