Despite the colder weather there was no shortage of outstanding results on the day as all four House teams went race for race remaining in the hunt to finish as 2021 Athletics Champions.

Adding to our excellent participation rates were some outstanding individual results across the board including some heated sibling rivalry in the Paton family with Chelsea (Year 11) and Kieran (Year 9) dominating their respective divisions from start to finish. Sienna Barone (Year 10) would continue to stamp her dominance as Queen of the Track taking out the 100m, 200m and 400m events with ease whilst Jamie William would put on a show of strength taking out the 13yo Shotput title with an impressive performance.

With overall results kept secrent until our big Founders' Day reveal, it would be the eagles of Olrig flying high as eventual champions, taking out first place over a fast finishing Ridley.

Congratulations to Olrig House on their victory and well done to all students who competed with great pride throughout the day.
